Frequently asked Questions

Q.1 - What if I am not entirely happy with my canvas when I receive it?
We are confident you will love your canvas prints, but if you are not completely happy with it, please return it to us within 14 days for a full refund.

Q.2 - Does my canvas come "Ready to Hang"?
Yes. Every canvas we supply comes stretched over the frame, ready to be hung on your wall. We are aware of some companies who only supply the canvas with the frame seperate, and expect the customer to build the frame and stretch the canvas. This is a specialised procedure requiring specific tools.

Q.3 - What type of canvas do you use?
We only use 100% cotton canvas with a weight of 360gsm (grams per square metre). This is one of the heaviest canvases used in the market. We do not use cotton/poly composites which is a cheaper alternative to 100% cotton canvas.

Q.4 - What type of frames do you use?
All our canvases are streched over kiln dried fir gallery style stretcher bars. Gallery style stretcher bars ensure that the front of the canvas has very little contact with the frame. We use 18mm thick stretcher bars up to 24" x 36" and chunkier 38mm thick stretcher bars up to 30" x 72" canvasses. You can select which stretcher bars you require when you choose your canvas size.

Q.5 - What is the cost of your canvases?
All our prices can be found here. Our standard delivery charge is £4.99 for each order no matter how many canvases you order.

Q.6 - How do I know if my image is good enough to be tranferred into a canvas print?
Our unique software will check to see if your image is suitable for canvas printing. The software checks your image resoltion and determines the maximum canvas size. We will then visually check your image for clarity before printing starts. If we have any concerns about the quality of the finished canvas we will contact you and advise a suitable resolution.

Q.7 - I have a photo on my mobile phone. Can I use this to produce a canvas?
Just upload your image and our software will advise if your image is suitable for canvas printing.

Q.8 - How do I upload a photo and turn it into a canvas?
On our home page we have step by step instructions on uploading and sizing your canvas. Search your computer using the "Browse" button. Then upload the selected photo using the "Upload Photo" button. Once uploaded you will see a preview of your canvas. Next choose your canvas size and any options you require. When you are finished click the "Add to Cart" button to proceed to the checkout page, where you can update the quantity, enter a promotional code or order additional canvases. When you are happy and ready to pay for your canvas press the "Buy Now" button and you will be taken to our secure PayPal payment page.

Q.9 - Can I post my photo instead?
Certainly. We have specialised scanning equipment and software ideally suited to producing canvasses. Please remove your photo from any frame and download a form using the "Order by Post" button. Send the completed form along with your photo and payment details to the address on the form and we will return your photo along with your canvas.

Q.10 - What kind of wrap will my canvas have?
Our standard method of wrapping is Gallery wrap. This means that the image overlaps the sides of the canvas by the thickness of the frame. This may mean that features at the edges of your photo may end up on the side of the canvas. We always assess each canvas and if we feel the canvas would be better suited to have white sides i.e. no wrap then we will use this method instead.

Q.11 - Will you need to trim my photo in any way?
Our preview software shows exactly what will be on the front of the canvas. Depending on what size of canvas you choose, the preview will change accordingly.

Q.12 - How long will it take before I receive my canvas?
After receiving your order it usually take 5-7 working days to create and delivery your canvas.

Q.13 - Can you deliver my canvas to a different delivery address?
Yes. Using the Paypal checkout system you can specify a delivery address which is different to your billing address.

Q.14 - How do I take care of my canvas?
To maintain the life span of your canvas please protect from direct sunlight and moist atmospheres. Clean your canvas with an occasional vaccum using the small brush attachment. Remove canvas from the wall before cleaning. Our specialist coating means that you can clean your canvas using a damp cloth without affecting your canvas finish.
